Scrolling through reels the other day, I came across a fun John Wick skit. It wasn’t an ad — just a playful scene — but it instantly sparked an idea: what if this concept was reimagined as a credit card commercial?

Here’s the scene I pictured:

👤 A regular guy walks into the iconic Continental Hotel (where transactions usually happen with gold coins).

Guy: “Can I pay with my [Credit Card]?”Receptionist (smiling): “Of course… [Credit Card] works everywhere — even in the Continental.”

🔹 Tagline: “It works everywhere.”

💡 Why This Works

  • Pop Culture Connection: Using a globally recognized movie like John Wick makes the ad instantly attention-grabbing.

  • Relatable Messaging: Travelers and everyday consumers want a card that works anywhere, and this dramatizes it perfectly.

  • Memorable Storytelling: Instead of listing features, the concept sticks through humor and cinematic reference.

I’ve added this concept project to my portfolio website as part of my creative advertising section. It’s a fun example of how I like to combine pop culture with brand messaging to make campaigns more engaging and memorable.
