Objective:
To analyze Netflix’s movie and TV show library, uncover viewing trends, and understand content distribution by type, duration, country, and time of release.
Dataset Overview:
Source: Netflix Titles Dataset (from Kaggle)
Total Records: 8,807 titles
Columns Used: Title, Type, Country, Release Year, Rating, Duration, Genre, and Date Added
Data Cleaning & Transformation:

Extracted and formatted release year into decades
Created Duration Categories (Short, Medium, Long, and Series)
Split multiple genres for accurate categorization
Extracted day and month from the date of release for trend analysis
Key Insights:
1. Content Type Distribution
Movies make up the majority of Netflix content.
TV Shows still represent a large portion, showing Netflix’s balance between series and films.
2. Duration & Category
Most movies are medium-length (90–120 minutes).
TV shows dominate the series category.
3. Top Content-Producing Countries
The United States leads the platform, followed by India and the United Kingdom.
There is diverse global representation with Japan, France, and South Korea among top contributors.
4. Decade of Release
The 2010s had the highest content addition (5.9K titles).
Content production increased massively after 2000.
5. Release Trends
The highest number of releases occurred in March, August, and October.
Friday is the most common day for new content releases, aligning with weekend streaming habits.
6. Ratings Distribution
TV-MA and TV-14 dominate, suggesting Netflix targets mature audiences.
